I am a native Seattleite. In 1977, my new bride and I decided to make a big move east to Redmond, Washington, to get out of the "big city". Within the next couple of years, a certain software company (which shall remain nameless) also decided to make Redmond its home--so much for our plan to get out of the big city...
Two years after we married, my wife's dad married my mom (hey, it was all legit!), thus making her my stepsister, as well as my wife. To extend this craziness, that would also make our three children our own nieces and nephews.
I've been an accountant for over 25 years, and have also taught adult education as adjunct faculty at City University, in a huge variety of subjects. I've recently completed blackbelt certification as a LEAN practitioner, and have been affiliated with Toastmasters for a number of years. I'm also a certified Spanish interpreter and translator. Currently, my wife and I are building a large business with LifeVantage. Dad introduced us to it when he was 94, and he proceeded to build his business to over $2.5 million before he passed at age 98. Which just goes to show--there's no upper age limit on leadership!!
I'm excited to be a part of the John Maxwell Team, and looking forward to serving with all of you.
