Henry Semwanga
Henry is passionate about leadership and developing leaders. He has a passion to help people discover their purpose, identify beliefs that limit effectiveness and overcome challenges that keep them from reaching their goals. Henry can hold trainings like Lunch and Learns, Masterminds and Business Education curriculum, and utilizing his engaging speaking style, deliver these leadership programs especially designed to match your team and organizational needs. He also has a passion for coaching. His first encounter with John C. Maxwell dates back over 30 years ago when as a young fresh graduate passionate about leadership Henry came across the Equip materials written by John C. Maxwell. These were being used by his home church leadership to train leaders. It was the first time he heard the phrase: "Leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less." That stuck until today; he subsequently read the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership with the idea of using to train fellow men in leadership. That was early 2000s. It is one of those men that I had introduced the John Maxwell book to that beat at joining and actually has introduced me to the JMT certification; Julius Lukwago. "I am excited to be part of the MONDAY MASTERS supported by the ever inspirational Becky Spieth; I am very proud to belong to this family."
His passion for leadership was further fanned by a training he participated, in 2008, at the Haggai Institute’s Advanced Leadership Seminar in Maui, Hawaii. That seminar birthed in him the idea of a setting up a Leadership Training Center in Uganda - U Lead! Although still in conception Henry is working to see it realized given what many continue to acknowledge that Africa and Uganda in particular is in a leadership crisis. Leaders are needed to help Uganda attain its God-given potential.
“I am passionate about getting things done and sometimes it shows off as impatience. However, when I discovered that I am an ENTJ on the Myers-Briggs Personality test and a Life’s Administrator; it occurred to me that his strength is in putting order into things to get results out of them! I am very passionate at helping his organization and individuals be more effective.”
As the Director of Operations and Management at PACE, a local Public health promotion Not-For–Profit, his strength has been put to good use.
