Julia Lindsey
I have been an occupational therapist for 34 years in various settings including schools, private practice and home health. I am currently pursuing a doctorate degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Engaging in multiple leadership roles within the doctoral program, I discovered the power of coaching students, staff members, and clients. As a therapist, I have learned the importance of active listening to move my clients toward their personal goals I have been married for 30 years to my husband Roger. Together we raised two compassionate and giving children. When our children were small, my husband was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) and coronary heart disease. Our life did not follow the original path we had planned, but personal growth and development helped in adapting to the unpredictable journey of dealing with a chronic and disabling illness. I joined the John Maxwell team to surround myself with like-minded people that could help me effectively inspire others, so that they may find their true purpose where they are able to live life to the fullest despite obstacles.
