Carrol Richards
Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago, Mrs. Carrol Richards graduated with Honours from the faculty of Humanities & Education at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.
She is also a graduate of the Great Commission Training centre with Campus Crusade for Christ and has worked in missions since 1984, (just over twenty seven years) with Campus Crusade for Christ.
During her tenure she has served as a trainer for new missionaries, pioneered ministry work on 7 high school campuses in Trinidad and four universities in Jamaica. In addition she began the first ministry to University faculty and administrative staff in the Caribbean which were launched on three university campuses in Kingston Jamaica.
Mrs. Richards is married to Dirk Richards the National Director for Campus Crusade for Christ Jamaica. She serves alongside her husband as Director of the university campus ministry, Human Resource manager, speaker, trainer and also is one of the chaplains at the University of Technology.
Mrs. Richards and her husband initiated the development of playgrounds in Jamaica to help provide safe play spaces for Jamaican children. They have overseen the construction of three playgrounds since 2008. In addition, they also implemented a Character development curriculum called Youth at the CrossRoads in over 50 High schools and institutions across Jamaica and trained over four hundred facilitators to administer this programme.
Her vocational history includes, Banking, Insurance Marketing and Human Resource Management. . She enjoys travelling, speaking and interacting with young people.
The Richards are blessed with three fun filled talented children who they thoroughly enjoy, Christof age 16, Dominic age 14 and Andrea age 11.
