Doug has been involved in leadership and coaching for most of his adult life, mainly focused on global ministry. His family served in international ministry in Asia for 15 years. For the past 24 years Doug has served in leadership at Globe International, an international mission agency. He became President in 2004. He also chairs the Globe Network, an international fraternity of mission agencies. He serves on several church and non-profit boards, and regularly coaches leaders in organizational and personal development. Doug loves working with teams, bringing talented people together for a common purpose. Doug has published several books, and speaks regularly to churches, leaders, and students. He is an accomplished surfer, has completed two marathons, and enjoys walking, cycling, and music. He has been married to Beth since 1976. They have four married children, and eleven grandchildren.
