In 1996, he was named Vice President of Marketing Worldwide for IBM Personal Computers Division (US), in 1998 Vice President for Emerging Markets (US), 1999 Vice President for European Global Markets (Milan), in 2004 Vice President for European Business Partners ( Independent Software Vendors & System Integrators ) in 2006, Vice President for IBM and Lenovo Strategic Alliance, and in 2007 until 2009, IBM European Vice President for both, IBM- Lenovo and IBM-RICOH Strategic Alliances.
Along with the last responsibilities Javier was (2006-2009) Trustee Director for Caravaggio Trust (Carmen Thyssen family Group) and at present is acting as Senior Consultant for SANGO Solutions Group as well as experienced Speeker expert in Leadership and Human Capital Values.
Among other responsibilities, Javier held top executive positions in both Marketing and Sales in IBM Worldwide (US), IBM Europe (Paris), member of the board of IBM Spain and member of the board of Multimedia Ediciones Group.
Javier has lived in four countries and his most recent corporate goal was as a European Vice President for the IBM-Lenovo Alliance and member of both IBM European Executive Leadership Team and member of Lenovo European Board , representing IBM.
He has also been President of the Spanish Martial Arts Association (Gojuryu Karatedo).
Javier has a Physics degree from Madrid University , a PDG (IESE) from Navarra University and speaks two languages.
He is married and has two daughters and two sons.
