Juane Tyler
Juane L. Tyler is the Chief Executive Officer of Tyler Consulting and Associates. She is also a social service leader and advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities, families, and providers in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As the CEO of a new business, Ms. Tyler brings vision, exceptional strategic planning, and the fortitude to grow professionally. Tyler Consulting and Associates provides investigations for individuals registered in the Intellectual Disability (ID) system, coaching, and mentoring for providers that serve individuals in the community. She is a speaker and trainer who has a communication style that is not only influential but effective Ms. Tyler is looking forward to growing her business and providing additional services in 2018.
Prior to Ms. Tyler starting her own consulting business, she worked directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities from 1991-1995 while she was attending Nursing school. From 1995-1997 she supervised a group of individuals with disabilities and mental health disorders. As her career progressed, she worked as Supports Coordinator for seven years, where she advocated, coordinated and located services for individuals in the community. She currently works in a contracted position at Allegheny County/Department of Human Services where she has an administrative role as Early, Periodic, Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) coordinator and billing specialist for children in the Child Welfare system.
As a native of Pittsburgh PA, Ms. Tyler graduated in 1995 from Duquesne University with Bachelor of Science in Nursing and in 2016 she graduated from Geneva College where she obtained her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. She is a certified investigator in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and an avid supporter of the National Alliance in Mental Illness (NAMI).
When this woman of excellence is not growing her personal business or working with others, she spends time reading, thrifting, being outdoors, and serving in the wedding ministry at Macedonia Baptist Church, which is nestled in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ms. Tyler is a wife, mother, sister and a friend to few but an associate to many.
