Michele Chenier
As a John Maxwell Certified Speaker, I am looking forward to reaching larger and more diverse audiences, increasing my confidence to present a broad range of learning topics, and continuing to build strong connections and relationships with others.
Bio: Michele Chenier joined the Early Childhood Investment Corporation in 2010 and is a Technical Assistance Specialist working with Michigan's Great Start Collaborative Directors and Parent Liaisons around the state. Ms. Chenier provides orientation for new Great Start staff as well as coaching, consultation, training, and technical assistance to support the Great Start Network.
Ms. Chenier has successfully earned the level of Agency Trainer for Thinking Collaborative ™ Adaptive Schools, teaching strategies and moves for developing collaborative groups, and the collective identity and capacity of organization members as collaborators, inquirers, and leaders.
Ms. Chenier achieved the National Alliance of Children’s Trust and Prevention Funds Certified Trainer certificate in 2014 and has provided the Strengthening Families™ Protective Factors Framework training to over one thousand professionals and parents throughout Michigan, helping families build on their strengths, teaching professionals to create parent partnerships, and ensuring more positive outcomes for children by teaching about the Five Protective Factors ® to decrease the likelihood of child abuse and neglect.

Ms. Chenier received a Business Administration degree from Bay College. Continuing her education, she is a Michigan Public Health Institute Certified Trainer for "Parents Partnering for Change" and is a John Maxwell Certified Speaker.
