I am a full time Pastor of a growing church that has tripled in attendance over the last decade and completed two building additions in the past 8 years. I have 35 years of experience in recruiting, training, and leading volunteer and paid staff. My strengths are: communicating for change; leadership development; vision-casting; and developing meaningful relationships.
In addition to my work within the church, I have also spoken and led seminars, workshops, and training sessions in several states on behalf of Group Publishing. I have written teaching curriculum and several articles for publication as well.
In my community, I am currently on the board of a local benevolent organization, a Christian Counseling Service, and Ball State Christian Student Foundation. I have previously served on the board of a crisis pregnancy center, a local ministerial association, a Christian campground, and more. I have. B.A. degree in History and Religion from Milligan College and M.A. in Practical Ministries from Cincinnati Christian Seminary.
My wonderful wife, Pam, and I have been married for almost 35 years and are blessed with two adult children, one beautiful grandchild, and an 80 pound Gordon Setter. Apart from work and family, I enjoy hacking (known by the more skilled as golf), reading, writing, and just about all sports. My personal philosophy is to live with integrity, preach effectively, lead courageously, serve willingly, and leave a legacy.
As a member of the John Maxwell Team, it is my pleasure to help other churches, businesses and organizations sharpen their focus and maximize their potential so they can reach and surpass their goals.
